Achievements
Darren Holmes is a successful business man and has trained in various forms of martial arts since the age of twelve, starting with Chinese Kung fu. Darren Joined the British Army after leaving school and continued his training in Boxing at amateur company and battalion levels. Between 1991 and 1995 he served as a member of the 1st battalion kings regiment reconnaissance platoon and between 1995 and 2000 Darren served with the British Army’s Special Forces and the U.S. Special Forces on operational tours world wide, specialising in reconnaissance, close observation, surveillance and close protection. After leaving the military in 2000, Darren resumed his martial arts training with Sensei Lee Charles and went on to achieve;

- Wuma 1st place points fighting 2001 welsh open.
- Wuma 2nd place semi continuous fighting 2001 Welsh open.
- Wuma 3rd place semi continuous fighting European championships 2002.
- 2nd place to Rick Allsop Chinese Kick Boxing team and WKA British team.
- Wuma 2nd place points fighting 2007 Welsh open.
- Wuma 1st place continuous fighting 2007 Welsh open.

Our Dojo has all the facilities you need to train for Martial Arts; a fitness area with cardio machines and free weights, a ring, a shop for equipment, energy drinks and refreshments. A treatment room, male and female changing rooms and a shower room.
